2014 production. Requested multiple times by different people. Rips aren’t mine, all credit goes to the original (anonymous) uploader. Mirroring it here in case the torrent dies again or it’s wiped elsewhere, which happens more often than not with this kinda stuff…
Story: In 201X, humankind is in a state of war with the monster army “Vilas” that came from outer space. Meanwhile, a huge female alien “Mighty Lady” suddenly appeared. Mankind has been saved by her many times, but no one knows her true identity. However, from her crystal pieces she left behind on the battlefield, it became clear that a Japanese woman could transform into a mighty lady. The “Mighty Lady Academy” was established, and the selected girls worked hard on combat training while maneuvering the giant robot “Grando”, cultured from Mighty Lady’s cells to stop the invasion of Vilas. However, no one has been able to transform into a mighty lady yet, and the girls are dying one after another before the onslaught of the enemy … Beautiful girls destined to suffer and hurt, but never stop struggling!
2018-ongoing(?). The long overdue sequel to the original Line, made for the show’s 30th anniversary. Gone are the big muscles, 80s hair and Ramboism of the original. Arguably more child friendly and shot in HD instead of VHS, the new Line seems to act as a local hero for the city of Atami. Several of the old cast members reappear, including our well-respected former Ultraman Eiichi Kikuchi (who’s almost 80 at this point!), and the special FX have of course retained their retro aethetics.
This one is pretty weird. Director Minoru Kawasaki (Iko-chan, Monster X strikes back) has produced dozens of tokusatsu titles like this, usually mixing incredibly cheap Showa-style effects with odd humor, but his Den Ace series has probably been the most prolific. Amazon Japan lists dozens of titles for this character alone, so you’ll likely see more of this in the future. Most of Kawasaki’s works also include guest appearances by… uh, various people. Plus, this one features idols!
Released by Asmik Ace in 2012. The movie for Okinawa’s local hero, Ryujin Mabuyer. A light-hearted tokusatsu adventure. Optional English and Chinese subtitles. Bonus features are untranslated.
